Growing up in a family of doctors, I was surrounded by medicine from an early age. I remember being six, watching my father come home from the hospital, frustrated that a patient hadn’t made it despite everything he’d done.

One evening, I sat next to him and asked, “You mean you’re not doing your job well? You operated on him and it didn’t work? How is that possible? Maybe surgery wasn’t the solution for him.Why do you think people are broken or need to be ‘fixed’ by being cut open? Maybe that’s not the way to help them heal.”

As I went through medical school, those questions stuck with me. I began spending time with patients, listening to their stories and their struggles. Time and again, I saw a clear link between their illnesses and the pain they carried inside. This led me to study integrative psychotherapy, deepening my understanding of the emotion-body connection.

This journey led me to create doctor.acupuncture, a practice that combines my medical background with acupuncture to support real healing. It’s built on the belief that the body isn’t broken—it just needs the right support and context to heal itself. Now, I finally feel like I’m helping people the way I always hoped to.

When I'm not in the office with patients, I love walking with my dog Aloha through the woods. I like to climb the mountains, it's a moment of peace when all thoughts seem to calm down and a special peace appears. Music has been present in my life since I was 3 years old and I started piano lessons that continued throughout my life.
